A pair of gilt bronze and marble Art Nouveau sculptures by the Austrian sculptor Rudolf Podany. The pair is known as "Cleopatra" or as a pair of "French gilt bronze art nouveau ladies," one nude with a cape and the other semi-nude with flowers in her hair.

The sculptures are crafted in the elegant, flowing lines characteristic of the Art Nouveau movement, dating to approximately 1910. This artistic style frequently focused on the female form, with an emphasis on curves and natural motifs.

Rudolf Podany (1876–1963) was an Austrian sculptor and ceramicist primarily associated with the Art Nouveau and Art Deco movements. Podany studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna after training under Johannes Benck.

These pieces are signed Podany Geschutz 5745 and the other Geschutz, 5545. Each measure: 4.5" x 5.25" x 14" and are ready for display.
